MD Alam, Candidate, Chair, MDP: 2019 

MD Alam is a Veteran, served in the United States Army. Alam was a Army sergeant and honorably discharged. Alam served our country with pride, dignity and honor. Alam defended our national freedom and served in the “Operation Iraqi Freedom” AKA “Iraq war”.  Alam earned a Bachelor of Science Honors in Biology & minor in Mathematics, a 2nd Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science & Government, both from National University. Alam earned an MBA in MIS also an MA in Mathematics.

Alam earned his High School Teacher Certification form University of Missouri-Kansas City. Alam attended Doctoral Courses at University of North Texas, Denton in ECMP “Educational Computational Mathematics” and is a Ph. D. Candidate. Alam is a Candidate for a Juris Doctor (JD) at WMU-Cooley Law School. Alam attended University of Michigan Dearborn and finished 24 hours of advanced Arabic Language Courses. Alam is a Distinct graduate and the recipient of Dale Carnegie Leadership award.

Alam has worked as an intern at the Public defender office of Washtenaw County in Ann Arbor. Currently Alam is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MS Corporation and the Chairman of the Board Director of Minority Directed Small Business. Before becoming the CEO Alam worked as a High School Math Teacher. Alam also, a Certified IT Professional in the Software Development and UAT Test Engineering. Alam is a successful IT Business Analyst, and a Political activist.

Alam appeared in the Fox news, CNN, BBC, Voice of America, U.S. World News, ABC, CBS, NBC and many local news channel. Alam hosts “National Political & Community Talk-Show” with Dr. Kevin Barrett of Madison Wisconsin, Imam Walli Karim of Chicago, IL, Mayor Mohammed T. Khairullah of Prospect Park, NJ. and Dr. Rashid Malik of Atlanta, GA. Alam is the managing director of Millennium TV, s satellite television.  

In 2008, Alam served as an Executive member of DNC’s Asian Pacific Islander Caucus (API Caucus) and served as a Satellite Campaign Manager in Obama campaign. Alam was elected as the Democratic Committeeman from Jackson County Missouri’s 26 ward, served from 2010-2012. Alam served as the Chair for DNC’s Democratic Party Asian Caucus and he was the 2011 convener. In 2012, Alam established the Bangladeshi American Political Action Committee, which has currently 18 states chapters nationwide. From 2012-2014, Alam served as an executive member of DNC’s Ethnic Council. Alam also was a member of Democratic Veteran Caucus. Alam has a long standing in the DNC and the Democratic National Caucus which now in 27 states.

During the 2008 Presidential Primary MD Alam worked for Obama Campaign and introducing his community to Obama. Alam travelled over 20 states to organize Muslims and rally for Barack Obama.
MD Alam is the founder of #MichiganDem.ORG and online Campaign to organize “Michigan Democratic Party” as part of the run for MDP Chair. Alam planned to establish 767 Caucuses in all 83 counties. Alam have have over 33K members in his group
MD Alam is addressing a Labor Union rally of #$15 MinimumWages. Alam is stands with the Minimum wages of $15, Alam advocates for Medicare for All (Single Payer), Alam organized town-hall for Legalizing Medical & Recreational Marijuana and Alam’s group “#45thImpeachment.com” collected 240K signatures for Trump’s Impeachment where Alam is a National Field Director.
